Transgrancanaria 125Km

The mother of all races, every proper runner desires to overcome this engaging physical test. The race is very similar to the Transgrancanaria 83 km course. The 125 km course, however, is expanded to run through the mid-altitude areas in northern Gran Canaria. It is aimed for ultra endurance race top runners, and nature and adventure lovers. The Transgrancanaria race is specially made for you! Take your time to delight yourself in the most remarkable landscapes in Gran Canaria as you challenge the course on foot in less than 30 hours. You won’t be alone, of course. Spectators and other runners will support you from start to finish, as they all acknowledge and respect the strong will to overcome one’s limits that is necessary to tackle this challenge.

Required material:

    • ID, passport or driving license (with photo)
    • Plastic cup
    • Emergency blanket (minimum 100 cm x 200 cm).
    • Headlamp, flashlight or front light (spare batteries required).
    • Red rear light (runners shall wear it on their rear side and keep it on throughout the race).
    • Mobile phone with enough credit and properly charged battery.
    • 1.5 l water bottle.
    • Plenty of food to eat throughout the race.
    • Race number, worn in the front so that it is easily visible.
    • Breathable waterproof jacket.
    • Cap, bandana, etc.
    • Cash (euros)

El Garañón: central aid station

The aid station located in El Garañón (km 81.7) is the one where the participants can have the drop-bag service in Transgrancanaria. The runners interested in change their running bags must take to the checking in Expomeloneras their bag/material they want to receive in El Garañón at the same time they collect their bib. In El Garañón you will also have resting areas, hot food and medical assistance.

External assistance

These will be signalled 100 meters before the provisioning point and 100 meters after, but never in the provisioning area of the organization.

External assistance will not be allowed in the following aid stations: Tirma and Cruce de Aríñez.
