A course designed only for the brave. To complete this type of Transgrancanaria need to be physically fit and experienced mountain racing over long distances. If you have successfully participated in the Transgrancanaria Marathon in the past, this may be for you the next year. The route crosses some of the most outstanding natural scenery of Gran Canaria and it begins at 09:00 in the morning. Several aid stations will welcome the runners, who will enjoy the encouragement of the thousands of people along the course that will come to marvel at your bravery.
ARTICLE 1: ORGANIZATION
Transgrancanaria HG is an event organized by Arista Eventos SLU in collaboration with Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the town halls of Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands.
ARTICLE 2: DATES AND RACES
Transgrancanaria HG 2021 will host the following races:
- 360º: 24-28 February (pending confirmation)
- Classic: 26-28 February
- Advanced: 27 February
- Maratón: 27 February
- Starter: 27 February
- Promo, Youth, Family Trail: 27 February
- Kids: 26 February

Registered participants in the 360º, Classic and Advanced, must present the document medical certificate filled and signed by a doctor. This form is valid for one year before the race unless it is necessary to modify it because of disease or injury. It must be uploaded to the registration site until January 24th 2021.
Registration will not be ended or validated until the runner encloses the medical certificate and the organization confirms it. A paid inscription without a medical certificate will not be valid. The certificate will validate the participant’s capacity for the race. The medical form of other race will not be valid only Transgrancanaria form or Spain Ultra Cup form.

Private Area and Extra Services
These will be signalled 100 meters before the provisioning point and 100 meters after, but never in the provisioning area of the organization.
External assistance will not be allowed in the following aid stations: Presa de los Pérez and Ayagaures.
Race number, worn in the front so that it is easily visible.
ID, passport or driving license (with photo)
Emergency blanket (minimum 100 cm x 200 cm).
Mobile phone (must be operative in Spain) with enough credit and properly charged battery.
1.5 liters capacity for water (you may add different containers.
Headlamp, flashlight or front light with spare batteries required (minimum 200 lumens)
Red tail light (runners shall lighten it during the night hours).
Plenty of food to eat throughout the race.
Breathable waterproof jacket.
Cap, bandana, or similar.
