The mountain race highlights the support of more than thirty companies, institutions and partners that make the event possible.

The director, Carlos Torrent, said that it was the year with the greatest media coverage, with more than 130 media from around twenty countries following the event.

The Transgrancanaria officially closes its 2023 edition. This morning, the mountain race thanked more than thirty companies, institutions and associations for their partnerships during this year. Thanks to them, the sporting event organised by Arista Eventos was a success in terms of participation, with 3,500 registered participants, organisation, and media coverage, with nearly two million viewers thanks to the live broadcast of the race on Teledeporte, Televisión Canaria, Esport3 of Televisión de Catalunya and social networks.

The director of the event, Carlos Torrent, highlighted the importance of these sponsors and partners. “Without all of you, it wouldn’t have been possible to carry out the deployment we have done this year” said during the act celebrated in the headquarters of the Canarias 7 newspaper. Torrent pointed out the impact that the Transgrancaria had on this twenty-fourth edition: “It was undoubtedly the most mediatic edition of its history”, not only for the audience but also because of the coverage by more than 130 media from around twenty countries”.

On this sense, Wendy Cruz, the Communication and Marketing director of Arista Eventos, also said: “The support of all of you allows the Transgrancanaria live broadcast to reach the whole world”, and also invite you to the next edition, which already has a date between February 21st and 25th of 2024.

The act, which was attended by the sponsor representatives, presented the official video of this edition. The spectacular images were followed by 1,7 million spectators during the race. They showed the way of the runners through such emblematic places as Tejeda, one of the epicentres of the race; The Roque Nublo, el camino de La Plata or the amazing start line of the Transgrancanaria Classic modality from Las Canteras beach; The Transgrancanaria Advanced from Las nieves dock in Agaete, as well as the finish line at Parque Sur in Maspalomas.

Arista Eventos, organiser of the race, closes a historic edition and immediately opens the next one with the announcement last week of the date of 2024, as well as starting to devise new ideas to surprise the thousands of mountain runners who will once again be on the trails of Gran Canaria.

The Transgrancanaria 2023 has counted with the sponsorship of the institutions Cabildo de Gran Canaria through Turismo de Gran Canaria and Gran Canaria Isla Europea del Deporte, Gobierno de Canarias with Pomotur- Islas Canarias, Maspalomas Costa Canaria, Instituto Municipal de Deportes de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Ayuntamiento de Tejeda; the companies SWE, Fred.
